Here’s how to make a single serving of bacon, tomato and basil omelette.

Ingredients :

1 egg, beaten
3 strips of bacon, diced
1 tomato, seeds removed then cut into 1/4-inch cubes
1 shallot, chopped
a tbsp. of chopped fresh basil leaves
a pinch of salt (optional)
pepper
1 tsp. of olive oil

Cooking procedure :

Heat the olive oil in a nonstick saute pan. Add the bacon and cook for about a minute. Add the chopped shallot, basil and cubed tomato and cook, stirring, for 30 to 45 seconds. Pour in the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt, if using, and pepper. Cook until set. Fold or flip the omelette, if you wish, to ensure even cooking.

That’s it! Delicious. I had a teeny-weeny bite before the omelette went into my daughter’s lunch box. :)

Ces, cilantrro is great too with just about anything. :)

Kats, Oakwood in Makati? What’s the name of the resto?

Relly, my kids love fresh herbs. :) It all started when we planted some parsley in the backyard. They loved picking and sprinkling the parsley on food. Now we have basil, cilantro, dill, mint… :)

      Thank you, Manuel.

You’re welcome, Cat. And have fun with the cooking. :)

chef tony i personally don’t know

he offers caramel and pesto popcorn

NOTE: this is freshly cooked and delivered to outlets one of which is located sa metrowalk parking area near pancake house

gourmet popcorn may be a reaction to growing popularity of “kettle corn” who started the freshly popped packaging

a real fresh and yummy alternative to caramel / butter / loaded ones on supermarket aisles

believe it or not i even so one brand which offers cinamon frosting of cinnabon on top our your popcorn

teka….basil on omelette ‘to na article

      na punta nasa popcorn
