Coffee jelly dessert
Ingredients :
1 box of almond jelly powder (I used Alsa)
3 tbsps. of vanilla flavored instant coffee
vanila ice cream
cinnamon powder
Make the dessert :
First, let me explain that I chose almond flavored jelly because I knew that, when combined with the vanilla flavored instant coffee, the aroma would be just spectacular.
Second, I used vanilla flavored coffee because I already had some in the house. I bought a small jar of Taster’s Choice vanilla roast coffee a few weeks ago on a trial basis and it turned out tasteless for drinking. Too sweet. Too artificially sweet, in fact.
You don’t have to use almond flavored jelly or vanilla flavored coffee. You can use unflavored jelly and plain coffee. But you might want to add a drop or two of vanilla essence to the jelly to enhance the aroma.
Okay. So, prepare the jelly by following the instructions on the box. I won’t pre-empt you with measurements since you might be using another brand or a bigger or smaller box of jelly. However, if the instructions say stir in some milk, skip that part. Just use water. And, if you’re using unflavored jelly, you will have to add enough sugar to taste.
So, when the jelly has been dissolved, pour the liquid into individual cups. Cool until set. For best results, chill the jelly.
To serve, top the jelly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
That’s it! You weren’t really expecting something more complicated than that, were you? ![]()

This recipe is similar to the one my daughter concocted. She used almond jelly as well. But used french press coffee though. Yes, Coffee jelly is easy to make .

hi! my husband really likes coffee jelly and he has tried wendys, mcdonalds, starbucks and his winning choice for taste and value for money is the ice craze special coffee jelly dessert of Jollibee! Try it! i will try your recipe at home so my husband can have coffee jelly whenever he wants

i tried my first coffee jelly at some japanese restaurant in ortigas, haven’t tried others so, i dunno the difference…
i’m not a jelly fan though
it tasted Ok for me…
Coffee jelly might be a good alternative for coffee lovers now that summer has set in. I usually crave for a hot cup of coffee after a hearty lunch at the office cafeteria. But just the thought of the intense heat that I’d be up against as I cross the streeet to the nearest coffee shop is enough to crush my craving.
I agree, coffee jelly seems to be the craze these days. Ice Monster has their own version, although I prefer fruit toppings on their ice concoctions. Sugi has coffee jelly in their dessert menu. I’ve tried it a few years back and it really tasted very good
sound good to me!!!
Maricar, so jollibee has joined in. LOL
Not a jelly fan, kats? It isn’t comfort food for you? LOL My kids can eat jelly all day long and not get bored. They prefer fruit flavored jelly though.
Oh, I agree, Flooke. Even iced coffee with the tons of whipped cream is just too heavy for the summer heat.
try it, stephanie.
Hm, could it be Tempura? They do serve good coffee jelly. But I’m more of a tea person, so I got their green tea jelly, which is ok too.
Not Tempura… Forgot. I’ll ask the guys I had lunch with.
American fastfood restaurants always serve crazy different dishes in countries outside of the US. interesting.
I am a pastry chef in California. I have used coffee jelly in a few dishes in the past, but it is not at all a popular component here.
Great site. keep it up!

Roger, I guess they adapt to the local tastes.
ako nagugustuhan ko yung coffee jelly ng jollibee, mas masarap kaysa sa mcdo, at sulit naman.
eh di nadagdagan na disenteng pagkain sa jollibee–peach mango pie AND now, coffee jelly.
hmm…i think this could be a smart alternative for my weekend refreshment instead of making mocha granita
hehehe i am addicted to coffee jelly
yummy! i want to try this with crushed oreos and hmm maybe milo? LOL this is superdeeduper good
From the looks of it, the coffee jelly seems tasty. I have a question though. Taster’s Choice is a bit expensive. Can I use an oridnary coffee instead? Pero I still have one problem on the Vanilla flavor..vanilla extract perhaps? gano po kadami?
