Mango custard المانجو المحلبي
This is my second attempt at making mango custard. هذا هو تقريري الثاني في محاولة صنع المحلبي المانجو. The first one, a couple of months ago, was a total disaster and it took me a long time to muster the guts to try again. اول واحد ، قبل شهرين ، كان كارثه واستغرق مني وقتا طويلا الى أن يستجمع احشاء لتكرار المحاوله. Yes, the first attempt was that bad. نعم ، المحاوله الاولى لانه كان سيئا. Traumatic. صدمة. Terribly traumatic. صدمة رهيبه. It’s the kind of failure that makes me ask myself if I can really cook at all. انه ذلك النوع من الفشل الذي يجعلني اسأل نفسي لو استطيع حقا كوك على الاطلاق.

Peaches and cream الخوخ والدهن
Unlike the older وخلافا لكبار السن mango royale المانجو رويال recipe, I have found a way to make the cream filling firm without freezing. وصفة ، لقد وجدت طريقة لجعل الدهن ملء الشركة دون تجميد. My husband prefers this dessert frozen but it loses its light and airy texture and instead acquires the texture of ice cream with ice crystals which I really do not enjoy. زوجي يفضل هذه الحلوى المجمده ولكنه يفقد ضوء متجدد الهواء والملمس وبدلا يكتسب نسيج البوظه مع بلورات الجليد التي أنا حقا لا يتمتع. I prefer the cream filling to be custard-like, similar to the cream-cheese filling of انني افضل الدهن لملء المحلبي تكون شبيهة ، مماثلة لزبدة - جبن ملء tiramisu Tiramisu . The trick? الحيله؟ Well-chilled cream and sweetened condensed milk. مبرد جيدا القشده والحليب محلي مكثف.

Filipinos who grew up, or who reside, in the Philippines will know what I mean by ‘Magnolia’s pinipig crunch’. الفلبينيين الذين نشاوا وترعرعوا ، او الذين يقيمون ، فى الفلبين سوف تعرف ما أعني 'ماغنوليا pinipig للازمة'.
