Ms. Connie, naisip ko lang, my choice is not on the list.. i would have chosen “easy to do recipes”. kze yun talaga yung concern ko eh.. once na ma-browse ko yung recipe book at nakakaintimidate yung ingredients at procedure, usually di ko binibili… share lang po…

I love to collect cookbooks.Marami na rin akong collection may it be filipino or foreign cookbooks.I really don’t know, naaliw ako mabasa ko lang at makita ang mga pictures kahit hindi ko maluto ang mga recipes doon.In fact nagreresearch pa talaga ako on what are the lattest and new releases sa Amazon or local publishers.I’m sad wala ako sa Pinas para bilhin ang magagandang filipino cookbooks na nakikita ko lang sa internet.Ma’am Connie can you share some of the titles of your cookbooks para ma update ang collection ko baka marami pa akong wala plsss. Thanks very much …if you want I can share some titles of my collection also.

Thanks Ma’am Connie for replying, looking forward to the index of the cookbooks you have.By the way lulubusin ko na po baka puede nyo pong i share sa akin kung may recipe kayo ng buchie…I miss the buchie na nabibili sa chowking. I once tried to make but medyo palpak sumasabog ang buchie na ginawa ko pag piniprito na.Any special way on how to do it?Thanks po ulit ang happy cooking always….

Dang, naku, di pa ako marunong gumawa ng buchi. There is a red bean paste that is best for the filling. Haven’t found any yet.

I bought the following cookbooks during a visit to the Philippines: Filipino Cuisine, The Little Pancit Book by Gene Gonzalez, The New Filipino Cookbook and Filipino Cooking Here & Abroad by Eleanor Laquian and Irene Sobrevinas; also, Philippine Cakes, Pastries and Kakanin by Aurelia Miranda Yap. Although I enjoy the recipes from these books, I find myself referring more to your blog lately, and can’t wait for your cookbook to hit the bookshelves.
