Tastebook sneak peek
October 3, 2008
A reader e-mailed me wondering what the point was in publishing a Tastebook when all the contents have been previously published in my blog. Well, that’s precisely the point. NOT ALL the recipes in the Tastebook can be found in the blog. I gave you a sneak peek in a previous entry; let me show you another.

From left to right, top to bottom: baked pork ribs with mandarin oranges; smoked tanigue sandwiches; chocolate marble coconut macaroons; and cherry macaroons. Will they ever be published as blog entries? Probably, when a second Tastebook is ready.
Remember the date: October 20th. I’m right on schedule.

Hi Connie,
My Tastebook arrived a couple of weeks ago. It’s beautiful!!! Those guys really do an amazing job — heavy stock, glossy paper and all! I sent you an email and attached pictures.
how much will the tastebook cost the readers
I got it, purplegirl. And thanks for the suggestion too about the order of ingredients.
Raquel, it depends on how many pages there will be by the time final editing is done.
Congratulations…. well done!
bonjour connie ! i’m avid visitor of your site.infact, i check it everyday just after i check my mails. Your recipes helped me to introduce my french hubby to try pinoy dishes. so far, he liked all the recipes i tried from your site. it’s very helpful for me as i don”t have lots of time to think about the menu each day as i work, i usually just browse your recipes to try one of them. my hubby promised me to buy your coming tastebook so i want to know whether it would be possible for people like me who lives in paris to buy your book . thank you and keep up the beautiful and passionate work!
Yes, Tastebook.com delivers around the world.
Of course the book is always better. The release date is Oct 20 so how did some of your readers got theirs already? I’m jealous. I’m in the US, so how will I get a copy?
Me, purplegirl is referring to a different Tastebook. If you click the Tastebook link in the entry, you’ll understand how it works.

Hi Connie,
I am a frequent visitor of your website and you are really amazing. You are very passionate about cooking and get a lot of tips from you.
I am really excited about your Tastebook and would like to purchase it as soon as it is available. What would the title be?
Keep up the good work.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Great recipe. I tried it last night and my son loved it. Also, if you like cherries in your recipes, I found a company that is giving away a free tart cherry recipe ebook. You can download your free copy from [deleted]. Here is the link if you are interested: [deleted]
Thanks, Rose.
Hey, hankie, there is no recipe in this entry. That’s how your out of place comment with the link to the site you’re promoting became so obvious. Naturally, link was deleted. Spammer.
