The Old Spaghetti House

I threw a small birthday dinner party on October 30th at The Old Spaghetti House in the Grilla Bar & Restaurant along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo. The Old Spaghetti House is a restaurant within a restaurant. Kinda like a family restaurant in what is otherwise a watering hole for adults. The food was from the Grilla menu but the dinner was at the The Old Spaghetti House. When we were checking out the place, my husband fell in love with The Old Spaghetti House. The muted lights, the quiet privacy and the view from the balcony. And because it was almost Halloween, and the place wasn’t that full, we were told that it might be possible for us to have The Old Spaghetti House all to ourselves. It would be closed to the public for the night.
My husband and I went there earlier in the day to order the food ahead. We synchronized the time and told our guests that they would have to come on time so that the food would be newly cooked.
It was a great dinner party, really. From the company to the food to the service to the overall dining experience. And, yes, we had The Old Spaghetti House all to ourselves for the duration of my birthday dinner party.
